Hey! Jess Benoit here…thanks for stopping by to say hi!
I am a health and fitness coach loving life in Bozeman, Montana with my little border collie, Bishnu (“bish-nu”, or “B” for short) My passions are happiness, fitness and the pursuit of health through food and getting sweaty. I’m a fitness enthusiast and a recreational athlete. I love the great outdoors and all Montana has to offer in the way of hiking, backpacking, mountain biking and trail running!
The nerdy stuff: I am an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and am continually learning, improving and striving to discover ways to help you live your best life. If you intentionally move your body every day…you are an athlete!
My health and fitness journey has been an evolution; I was never really into traditional organized sports. I dabbled in track and field and soccer as a child, but I really loved to camp and be in the woods; to ride bikes and adventure. I discovered my love of getting sweaty through playing in the outdoors, exploring the art of resistance training, and studying the incredible mechanics of our human bodies through the Pre-Physical Therapy program here at Montana State University, Bozeman.
My philosophy as a fitness coach is to “train for life”. Exercise and nourishing your body are essential ways to improve your quality of life. I believe that exercise is an integral component to living a physically, mentally and emotionally balanced life. You’ve got to get your “crazies” out!
Working with me you will find a compassionate, excellent, open-minded listener, and health myth-buster. Together our sessions are filled with abundant positive energy and humor. I honor our time together: we work within your specific limitations and test the limits to help you achieve your goals and reveal the athlete in you.
Let’s get wicked sweaty!
Jess
